Dr Michael Portelli – Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr Michael Portelli (Chiropractor) is the founding principal of Spineline Chiropractic and Massage. He established the clinic in 1988 with his wife Margarite. Dr Portelli comes from a family of chiropractors with two brothers, as well as three nephews practicing chiropractic. He grew up locally attending St Monica’s Primary School and St Bernard’s College.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Anatomy from the University of NSW and a Grad Dip in Chiropractic from Sydney College of Chiropractic 1988. While practicing, Dr Portelli has completed many post graduate courses and seminars, providing him with the tools and techniques necessary to understand and treat a variety of conditions.

He is a member of The Chiropractors Association of Australia (CAA) and has held the position of Chairman of Public Education for the Victorian CAA. He is credited with the public education regarding the introduction of backpacks in schools. When he’s not spending time with his family, Dr Portelli is actively involved in many community projects with The Rotary Club of Essendon.
